Post your Daily meal schedule

Hey there! I am 17 weeks plus now and always confused on what i should be eating more and whether what i am consuming on a daily basis is right or not. Whether i will have a healthy baby with a good weight or not. SO I thought why not have everyone here post their daily meal schedule so that we all know what all of us pregnant ladies are consuming and how much :). I guess a 3 day to a 7 day post would be great but then again whatever way u want to post please do. This will help us all have an idea about our meals and whether we are having enough or not .

I'm still not eating a whole lot either. I mean I thought you were supposed to get raveneously hungry!? Lol I haven't really had any cravings either, unless I'm hungry then there might be something that I really want. And if I do want something then I reeeeaally want it. Lol unfortunately I always want stuff that isn't good for me, pizza and ice cream lol. I did have a chicken wrap for dinner tonight. I've been having low fat vaniila yogurt with strawberries and granola for breakfast every morning. I'll be 24 weeks wednesday and I'm wondering when this huge appetite is supposed to kick in. Lol

As for me..I am into 22 weeks and yet my appetite has not increased or i dont feel hungry all the time as people tell you that you should at this stage...i am eating only because i am supposed to eat..no such cravings either :(

No food "plan" just eating as healthy as possible by sneaking in extra nutrients - adding wheat germ to whatever breakfast I'm having (raisin bran, oatmeal,...) and fruit (whether it's fresh or frozen). And drinking milk with most meals. I figure that gives me a good dose of Vit E, C, D, Folic, etc. to start the day, even if I slip to something unhealthy later :)
I also toss spinach and tomatoes on at least one meal every day (in sandwiches, into dinner, crambled in eggs) it's such a habit now I don't even mind if the flavors don't completely go together because I know I need the veggies.

I've actually been eating healthier lately. Its easier for me to eat healthy when I eat out or order take out. I've been having more salads with grilled chicken and veggies. And I usually always try to have some sort of fruit around. Whether it be apples, or strawberries, or fruit salad with cantaloupe and honeydew and grapes. Ooo or watermelon!! I looove watermelon.

I am taking those also. I started I think around 12 weeks maybe. I hated the ther ones that were RX and it cost the same as what my insurance pays. THey are not big and have no funcky smells cause they are gelcaps. THey are worth it for sure!

Yeah I also avoid caffeine except for whatever is in chocolate ice cream. Lots of water too!

Oh I forgot to mention as a heads up:

For any ladies thinking about starting up on DHA (which I am taking) please make sure it is a non fish source because of the murcury levels. There is a debate about murcury and autism..plus it's just all around bad for everyone to ingest.  Like I said above, I am taking Expecta by Enfamil and it is a non-fish source so there is no murcury in it. You can find it at CVS or if you go to their website it shows other stores, as well as the option to order it. Here's the link if you are interested:

I'm the same way as Meadow841 and JillyHemp I'm just eating what I normally eat, just a lot more of it. I don't drink any soda unless I'm craving it (which isn't often) so I don't drink anything with caffiene. I know I should eat a lot healthier but eating healthy gets very expensive! Besides, cereal and grilled cheese aren't that unhealthy to begin with.
I also want to start taking that new Enfamil vitamin with DHA, I've heard lots of good things about it.

That's kinda what I'm doing too, I'm just kinda eating normal, except less caffiene and I try and get good stuff in there. I'm not having too many cravings either, but I feel like I'm not really eating much more than normal.

For me I have cereal every morning (Either special K, cheerios, or Honey Bunches of Oats) and a glass of OJ.
Morning snack I'll have a string cheese and either an apple sauce or a banana.
Lunch I'll have a grilled cheese and some sun chips or chex mix and a chocolate chip cookie (my weakness) and water
Snack again I'll have peanut butter on a one slice of bread and probably another cookie or i'll make a scrambled egg or a couple pancakes.
Dinner is usually chicken, rice, or some other kind of meat and rice/a veggie.
Snack- Ice cream.

I am also taking a vitamin and Expecta by Enfamil (it is a DHA omega 3 supplement which helps brain development and can help prevent autism). Most ppl start it in the 3rd trimester to be effective if anyone is interested, it isn't too late.

I could probably do better, but I just don't know how. Like I buy produce but it all goes bad so fast. And I am pretty set in my ways. I'm not having any cravings, just eating the stuff I normally would eat..but more of it. haha.

For breakfast I usually have a high fiber bar (I've been needing extra fiber), yogurt, and a bottle of water, or glass of OJ.

Morning snack I have a caffeine free coke with a salty snack, like triscuits.

Lunch I have a boxed meal from Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers.  (Obviously not trying to lose weight, but the boxes are convenient to bring to work)  I have V8 juice with my meal.

Afternoon snack I have trail mix or sometimes a candy bar.

Dinner I eat water.  From grilled cheese sandwich, to stir fry.

I realize when writing this down that my diet isn't the healthiest, but I'm trying.

I'm probably not eating as well as I should I usually have cheerios with fruit ot yogurt with granola for breakfast then I usually have little stuff throughout the day, yogurt, fruit, teddy grahams(good source of fiber and whole grains ya know) stuff like that and then for dinner usually whatever. Last night was grilled cheese samiches with tuckey and lettuce with chicken noodle soup and then watermelon for desert(expensive but soo worth it). Then if I want snacks I munch on almonds, teddy grahams, fruit, yogurt, frozen yogurt, fat free no suagr added fudge pops.

I try to aim for 6 smaller meals during the day. Biggest meal I can eat is dinner since Im still sort of queasy during the day. I eat oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, a light lunch (usually pasta) more fruit or dairy for a snack, dinner then a small meal before bed. I really am eating probably 1/2 of what I would normally eat since I just cant get it all in now :(

3 a day or 6 depending on the day.
Smoothies with frozen fruit, water and yogurt from breakfast and lunch and snacks

regular dinner now since nausea is better

no fried foods, caffine, sugar snacks anymore cuz I was over weight to begin with so all the calories come from healthy source. Not sure if I get enough protien though.

I am still going thru nausea and food aversion so I just try to eat whatever is appealing and I try to stick with mostly healthy choices.  I am having problems adding protein to my diet as I cannot stand the sight of meat so Ive started eating lots of cottage cheese, I can do turkey bacon with toast in the mornings, oatmeal, protein shakes, lots of milk, pinto beans.  And I try to eat lots of fruit, although hard during winter (off season).  Also, veggies make me gag and throw up so thank goodness for my prenatal.
