my sister is already trying to "plan" a baby shower. Specifically a venue.... do you ladies know when (# of weeks) someone has a baby shower? Im thinking 30 weeks that way i have roughly 2 months/10 weeks to get the things i didnt get and get the house/home finished.

any thoughts?

I am in Canada and we generally wait till after the baby is born, to "shower" the baby with love! So we usually have them when the baby is 6 weeks old!

I'm in Canada too and it really depends.  My showers were before the baby was born (my preference lol).  There were 3 showers planned and because Vaun came so early I only made it to one lol.  I think around 30 weeks is a great time :)

With my first, someone threw me a shower and I was 32 weeks. I think somewhere around there is a good time because that's when you usually start cracking down on getting everything organized for baby.

I think 30 weeks is a good time to have a shower. You're nice and plump, but not miserable! LOL! Also gives you time to get it in just in case baby decides to come early.
