Thanks. I'm sure it had to do with me not drinking enough water and yes I'm winded super easily. I try to make my 3 year old walk for the most part, holding my hand seems to be a good enough substitute, and i didn't carry him at all on the hike. Next time I'll be better about the water and that belly supporter sounds like a good idea. Thanks again!

Make sure you drink a lot of water, it's much easier for us to become dehydrated which can cause cramping.  If you feel like you are breathing harder at all, take a break...I find I am getting winded much easier, so easy it's ridiculous actually.  Are you carrying your 3 year old at all?  If I carry my 2 year old up our driveway (it's a 1/4 mile uphill) I find that I am cramping for a couple days.  My last piece of advice is what my dr. told me, and that is to try a maternity support belt.  It helps the muscles support our bellies and backs so the muscles don't feel as much strain.
I have walked up and down our driveway to the schoolbus for 2 years, and now I feel like taking a nap afterwards.
