i plan on going on the used car route. I'm just looking for safe car/sedan/suv ideas. I've been looking at volvos and a few others but i just don't have a clue what I'm doing lol

I had a Chevy malibu they are small cars but definitely roomy inside I was content with that car and having a baby but my car literally got totalled  a lil over a week ago :/ so I'm debating if I want to get this dodge caliber. Its only 8000. It is used I don't know how you feel about used cars but I'm sure you could get something your happy with with a 5000 down payment! Definitely.

Tute...OMG you paid 26,000 for a Mitsubishi Lancer? My sister bought one for 12,400...I seriously believe you overpaid.

if u consider a volvo, also consider a price range waaaaaayyyy above 5g... unless u get an ancient one which would compromise safety requirements

for that price range, try going for a hyundai or a kia... they have awesome safety ratings for a low budget. I have a 2012 lancer and i paid $26,000... good luck darlin

Volvos are definitely good picks if safety is what you're looking for. Check out the Volvo XC60.

Toyota Toyota Toyota! I had one for 5 years and only got maintenance on it once....plus it is very reliable and not really all that expensive. However as pp stated Volvo is supposed to be the safest car ever made. Congrats and Good Luck!
