Finally

So finally my doctor checked my cervix today I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow but im finally 3 to 4 cm dilated and 70% effaced. How soon did you ladies go into labor after that. Cause they sent me home instead of the hospital l&d. Im so ready for my baby girl

I let them know that they were the only doctors who haven't bothered to check me.  With my other 3 kids i got checked every week from 36 to delivery and this doctor office wasn't doing it so i let them know and then they asked if I wanted to be checked and I said uh yeah  lol

How did you get your doctor to check? Everyone is scared to check how dilated I am.. So annoying..

Thanks and good luck to you to. This is my 4th and i normally dilated good once i start. Every since she checked me ive been feeling pressure in my bottom and slight cramp pain i hope ill go in labor soon im just so ready. And so excited

I have been 4cm since friday drs say they wont admit me until i am 5cm or have closer contractions mine are 7min apart everyones different hopefully you will dilate faster than me this is taking forever im ready for my little man good luck!!

You just have to wait for contractions to pick up. You could stay at 4cm for a few more days or hours who knows. Good luck.
