Holy discharge! TMI sorrryyyyy

I had my 40 week appointment yesterday. I told her I had had some spotting and discharge so she made sure to check me. I'm 4cm and 70% effaced...she said the discharge is my bloody show. I was sent to L&D for mild contractions, which were inconsistent and eventually sent home. Anyways...the discharge is SO intense. It's tinged with blood and there is so much of it, I feel like I'm leaking waters when I stand up. My doctor said heavy discharge is normal at this point, but my goodness!!!! How is this normal?! And is this going to continue until I give birth?! I feel like I need a diaper! Hahahahaha oh the joys of being pregnant. And of course all day today I've had BRUTAL contractions anywhere from 5 minutes apart, to an hour apart. Like cmon now child. This is just silly. I just want real labor to start ):

Krissy006, your story is SO much like mine, it's insane!! My contractions weren't getting closer but they were getting so intense that I was crying and I have a super high pain tolerance so I knew something was up! Got to the hospital, 6cm...by the time they got me checked in, I was 8. My doctor told me to page her when I felt pressure. THE NEXT CONTRACTION I was like this is it and my daughter was born 15 minutes later. I was in hospital labor for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes lol! It was insane!!!!! That's why I HATE that they tell preggys to wait til 5 minutes apart...bottom line, that doesn't always happen! If I had waited much longer, I would have had my baby in the car, considering the hospital is 30 minutes away! Lollllll so glad it's over!

That's how I was before I went into labor, I had a lot of discharge, cleaned my house did shopping and then BAM I was in full blown labor, I labored for 12 hours at home with contractions 10 minuets apart. Finally I couldn't take the pain anymore I couldn't sleep, went to l&d and I was 5 almost 6 cm dialated they said they were shocked my water didn't break as it was looking like it should have. I never had contractions 5 min apart until 20 min before I spent 2 hours pushing my beautiful daughter out :) good luck. Labor ***** but the pain is sooooo worth it.

Yep that's how I felt haha I never felt clean down there cuz nasty junk kept coming out

Oh my gosh! I just don't understand Hahahaha! It's so gross. I feel like I have to shower everytime I move.

LoL at "holy discharge" I gave birth at 37+4 and my discharge was crazy also. Had to wear a pad because I was getting all my purdy undies soaked and stained eeew but my doctor told me towards the end to not doubt anything nasty that comes out of me and if I'm not in pain then it's normal. . So idk!
