Job? FTM needs advice!

Any of you ladies work? I just got a job this week as a cashier and honestly idk if I could handle it. My feet and back are killing me and it feels like my baby girl doesn't move as much anymore. I just turned 30 weeks. Idk what I should do. My mom is just like 'tough it out'. Idk if its just cause I just now started or its my body.

I was so tired after 30 weeks this time I'm finishing at 35weeks and i only work part time due to stress and anxiety from losing my first baby. I'm just glad my husband also works and we can afford to do this

Your body will probably take a week or two to adjust. Make sure you are wearing comfortable, supportive shoes and drinking plenty of water. I work part time as a nanny of 3 kids ages 5,4, and 2. 5 year old is in kindergarten all day so its mostly the younger two all day. Im up and down alot and do some basic housework to help care for the kids, I've been doing this job for over 2 years so I havnt had many problems but Im 28 weeks so am starting to  feel worn out if Im on my feet alot, that can usually be helped by sitting down with the kids to read a book or watch a tv show. I know as a cashier you probably wont be able to get off your feet unless you are on break but maybe you can discuss with your employer to have a small chair/stool you can sit on when its not that busy.

I'm 29 weeks, 18 years old, and work in a classroom with 19 three year olds from 10am-5pm. It's tough, but we do what we have to, to support ourselves and our family. My back kills me, but my bf makes it all better with a massage almost every night :)  Your body is going to ache because of the weight from the baby and standing all day. Give your body some time to adjust and it will get easier, I promise :) If you get to the point where you can't do it, at least you can say you tried. Stick with it for a bit is my opinion :)

Almost 28 weeks, and I'm a nurse overnight working 12 hour shifts! It's just your body trying to adjust!

Maybe try to get a belly brace too. I got one and now my back doesn't bother me much at all when I  am working. I'm 29 weeks and work as a CNA

I am 30+2 weeks and I am a server in a fine dining, high volume restaurant. I work 6 days a week, 6-8 hour shifts. It's hard sometimes and my feet and lower back do ache regularly, but I think you know your body. I tolerate the pain because I know my body can take it. It's not to the point where I need to stop. I think you should try and push through for a little bit and see how it goes. But only you know your body and if it is really too much, you will know it.

You're body is probably just adjusting to your new position I work 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Fri as a pharmacy/dispensary tech and am 31 weeks this week.
But because I've been working the same job for 4 years, my body is used to standing and walking all day. Bubby rarely moves unless I sit down for a moment or I'm on break but when I get home or on weekends it moves like crazy because I'm not so active.
Tough it out for a bit and see how you go. My feet will get sore every now and then and that's when I need to take a moment to sit and put my feet up, which my employer is fine with. Your body will let you know if its not handling well. Good luck xx

I work full-time. Your baby is probably sleeping more while you're moving so you are feeling her less. I'm 27 weeks, 37 years old, and i work ib a classroom with 16 2 year olds. I'm exhausted at night, but we do what we gotta do. If you need to work i would say try to stick with it.
