We made it! (Labor story)

So yesterday I posted that I tried castor oil... it worked. Andrew Nicholas was born 28 Minutes before his due date. We went to the doctor in the morning and she suggested castor oil. She also set up a day to talk about induction. If he hadn't come yet. Basically, she didn't think he was coming anytime soon. I was almost dilated to a 2 (had been for 3 weeks) and 70% effaced. Drank the castor oil mixed with orange juice at 12:30. From 2-5i cleaned the house and paced around . 5:00 I decided to rest and contractions started to be consistent made and ate dinner, relaxed, at 6:30 we did 1 lap around our complex and by the time we got back I had to poo. I did and it hurt sooo bad! But it wasn't  diarrhea. Meanwhile, I lost my mucus plug and was vomiting. I couldn't take it anymore. We left for the hospital at 7:30. I was dilated to a 4 and my water broke while they were checking me. By 9:00 we were in the delivery room. Around 10:15 I got the epidural and I could feel so much pressure while he was giving it to me. As soon as it started working they checked me again and I was ready to go so we did some practice pushes at 10:40 and they brought the doctor in at 10:50 and by 11:32pm I had my baby boy! Breastfeeding had been a struggle.but they said it could be because he came so fast.

We got it at Walgreens but I am sure there are cheaper places. You take 2 tablespoons and it goes down easiest if you put it in a little bit of orange juice

Congrats!  I'm due tomorrow and absolutely miserable.  Where do I get Castor oil & how much did you drink?

Aww congrats! That is awesome. Castor oil worked with my first, but I've never had a desire to do it again!
