Pyper Sierra is here

My baby girl was born 6/9/09 at 4:29 PM (2 1/2 weeks early).  We had an ultrasound because of grade 3 placenta and they graded her bio profile a 2 out of 8 so we went and had her within like 2 hours.  She was 6 lbs 4 oz and 18 in long.  She is perfect.  As of yesterday she was 5 lb 9 oz (because of breastfeeding).  She is only waking up twice a night.

I pumped a little and only got like 1 ounce, but that was a few days ago.  She was 5 lbs 10 oz when we left the hospital and then 5 lb 9 oz when we went back 3 days later so she must have lost and then gained some back.  I didnt deal with the jaundice thing at all.  One thing I didnt know that my sister in law told me is around this time the baby goes through a growth spurt and will want to eat like every hour for a day straight to build up milk supply.  Today Pyper did that 3 times in a row and then went 4 hours.  My nipples are very sore now.  How are you dealing with the pain?

i had my baby on 6/2/09. she was 3 1/2wks early. weighed 6lbs 5oz. 18.5 in long. currently she weighs 5lbs 14oz. i also breastfeed. we have dealt w/ jaundice and slow weight gain. i am pumping in order to monitor the amount baby is eating. she is eating 1-1.5oz/feeding. are you dealing w/ any of these issues?
