Terell Donte is here! born in July
Hey everybody Terell Donte a.k.a JT is here!!! So he wasn't born in June like people thought he would but I still want to be apart of this group if you all don't mind.
He was born July 5th at 1:06 am. He was 9lbs. 7oz and he was 21 inches long! My induction started Friday night with a jell they put in on my cervix because I was only a centimeter dilated and had a very long hard cervix. They let me go home to get basically only 5 hours of broken sleep (that Friday went in at 9 left the hospital at 1:30). I had to call L&D to see when I was to come in for my induction at 7 am Saturday morning. They told us to come in at 7:30 we didn't get there until 8:15 and the induction started at 8:30, the jell helped a lot because I was 70-80% effaced by the time we started the induction but things didn't move as fast as I wanted I was stayed 1cm and 70-80% effaced for about 4 hours so we didn't expect things to go quickly. I finally got to 3cm but stayed that way for about 5 hours after that I was 4- 5cm (12 hours into labor) dilated so they told me that it looked like I was going to be in for the long hall and he was probably going to be born sometime the next morning so they said I could either try and continue naturally and may need to get a c sec because I would be to exhausted to push or I could get an epidural and deliver vaginally so I got the epidural 4 hours later I thought the epidural wasn't working anymore so they gave me more I still felt pain so they checked me and I was fully dilated and ready to push. I pushed for 25 minutes and bam JT was born. First words out of my mouth was "dang he is huge!" JT was worth all the pain!

Congrats on the big baby boy! Hope all is well with both of you. And yes, you're definitely welcome on this forum! My baby girl was due June 2nd but arrived May 25th and I'm sticking around because I've bonded with so many of you girlies! Take care and keep us updated. You did good mommy!
