37 Weeks = Full term!

I just hit 37 weeks this weekend, so technically I'm full term now!  If you aren't there yet, you've got no more than 2 weeks to go to be in the window, too!  With that being said, is anyone close to having their babies?  I'm not betting mine to be early - my first baby was late and we induced and I haven't dilated at all with this one yet - but I go to the doctor tomorrow, so who knows.  My biggest complaint these days is achy pelvic joints, especially when I try to roll over in bed at night.  I also get tired easily and have to sit down a lot - no surprise there - the baby is estimated over 6 lbs at this point, not to mention the other 20 or so pounds I've gained.  LOL  How are the rest of y'all doing??

Linzola1 - Wow, 2 more days 'til baby time!  Yeah!  I totally hear you on the forgetting about the pain.  I keep telling my husband "I really don't think I was in this much pain before...I really don't think our son kicked me as violently as our daughter is now...etc" he just says "Yes, you were in the same amount of pain...it was the same..etc"  LOL  Also, when I got pregnant the first time I started at 117lbs and finished at 150 (My goal - not that I was on a diet - was to hopefully not pass 150)  This time around I started at 118 and am at 140 as of today - I have gained a lot less because I was a lot sicker in the first trimester.  I hope you have a smooth inducing on Thursday - prayers for a healthy delivery! :-)

Renshai - I think at times my little girl thinks her way out is through my belly, too.  It hurts!  I've had slow weight gain w/this pregnancy, too.  But, you only have 3 more weeks to gain weight, so no worries if you feel like you're gaining too much now towards the end!  The less you gain, the less you have to lose. :-)

I'll be 37 weeks on Thursday. I've had some contractions and I'm a little bit dilated but they don't think I'm going to actually start labor any time soon. I'm so ready though, I don't know what she was doing the other night but I had to stay on my left side with a pillow balled up and forced into my abdomen to keep it from feeling like she was tearing her way out. >.< My husband thought for sure I'd gone into labor.

My little girl is measuring just under 5lbs right now but she's taking after her mommy (I'm only 4'9") so they're not concerned about her size. Finally gaining weight just when my weight gain is supposed to be slowing down, lol, of course I had to deal with a bland diet this whole pregnancy because of gallbladder issues.

I am 38 weeks 4 days and I am being induced on Thursday!!!! I am at the point where I am so uncomfortable everything hurts. I dont remember this happening with my first son but I could be wrong. I really do think we forget the pain from previous pregnancys! I am between 1-2 cm dialiated and since 35 weeks little man has been engaged. At 36 weeks my ob siad the baby was very postierer but when I went to have an ultrasound at 37 weeks 5 days they said he was on his side so hopefully he is turning now! I wish I could say my weight gain was as good as yours. I started at 112 and I am now 149... Every visit lately I am 148-149 the nurses keep joking that I wont hit the 150 point im just too stubborn... lol! I hope your little one comes soon!  God Bless
