Is anyone having sex yet? Parts TMI..sorry in advance

Sorry to be brash here but I had to ask.  I haven't had sex since 9/26/10 the day before my FET. I've had a few spotting episodes mostly because I am/was doing progestrone 3 (now 2) times a day. So in my mind there was enough stuff already "up there" so to spreak. I was even questioning the vaginal U/S...... b/c of the fear of spotting.  So my question to you ladies is....when is a good to get back in the saddle?  Sidenote:  I have also been having very strange dreams some sex related and when I wake up my lower abdomen and pelvic area actually hurt or have intense pressure.  In my mind if a dream can make that area hurt then I'm not ready to have the real thing...or it's just a coincidence. SO sorry as I know this is TMI but I had to ask and this is the best place to do so.

Pretty much planning not to have sex until the 1st trimester is over but I know that is extreme......  LOL

I totally understand! I am no longer having those dreams now they are just all over the place. Very vivid and random! But I hear that is normal as well. Seems like everything is "normal" when it comes to pregnancy.

I feel the same as what you are feeling... IM so scared to do anything because of some pink coloured CM and am to scared to push it. The dreams i have been having are sexual and i feel like its teasing me into doing it. lol im just so glad hubby understands that untill i see a heart beat id prefrer not to do anything incase of more spotting.. Im 6 weeks and 2 days today and with a previous missed miscarriage i just keep thinking it will happen again, so untill then hubby has to take care of himself lol.

it doesn't hurt to wait until you are 12 weeks.  I had a miscarriage last year, so my husband & I had the same fears.  We waited until we saw a heartbeat, but still taking things slow.

I do remember when I was pregnant with my daughter (5 years ago)  that when I had an orgasm, I also had contractions.  I think that feeling would be scary in early pregnancy.... just something to keep in mind.

I have to say with my first baby I didn't have sex the whole first trimester and I didn't have any spotting was just a worry wart. This pregnancy I guess me and dh are more comfortable about it so we have had sex since finding out. I would say do what makes you comfortable!

I was scared with my first one too...and I had to wait 'til almost 9 weeks as well for my first appointment.  But, don't worry, you can't make it fall out w/ sex...even my doctor recommended sex and exercise. ;-)  Though, I completely understand waiting!

I too haven't had sex since I found out I was pregnant almost two weeks ago and I'm scared I will jossel the baby out. I know that sounds crazy but I can't have my first U/S until I'm 8-9 weeks which is another 2 weeks and so I am scared to cause anything badto happen. Haven't even been able to see my Dr. yet. I am almost 6 weeks. Good luck. I think I will wait till I see my Dr.

Thanks guys! The doc told me it was safe also, I guess I'm just nervous. I think I'll feel better after the next u/s.

My doctor told me it's safe too, but we have only done it once since finding out I was pregnant, mostly because I feel nauseated all the time and don't want to get sick in the middle of it!  LOL

I have been having sex since we knew there was a heartbeat. The doctor told me that it is perfectly safe. It's just up to you when you feel ready. X

I think you have to do what's comfortable for you.  If you've had a previous miscarriage then it's not going to hurt to wait until your 12 weeks.  Personally I haven't had sex either and now with the added complications I dare not!
