Morning Sickness/nausea

Congrats to all due in June 2013. I am currently 7weeks and I throw up about 3times a day, I can hardly stomach anything, also my nausea is ongoing and worse than being sick itself.  I can't do anything at all. I feel useless! Can anyone share what works or has worked in the past please. Bee. X

Thank you!! It is baby number 5 for us now! LOL I started the group back before #4 came!!
It is hard to eat and drink often when you don't feel good or when it just comes back to revisit you!!
Protein foods that are great would be any meat, I like chicken because it doesn't have as strong of a flavor. Also nuts, and nut butters, like peanut butter, it is good to have with whole wheat crackers, cheese is also great can be eaten with crackers as well, yogurt  is also great. Really what ever sound the best to you, go for it! It is better to eat what sounds good then eat something that doesn't and it makes you throw up!
I hear lemons are also great when feeling icky, try lemon juice in water, or even lemon heads candy to suck on.
Another idea is to eat something with protein and whole grains right before bed or nap time, that way you blood sugar stays up and hopefully you won't wake feeling so ick. Hope that it helps you some, I know I sure wish my morning sickness would take a leave of absence!
Take care girl!!

Congrats on yours too, I guess it's baby #4 for you, aren't you brave doing it all over again! Thank you for all the advice, I will try some of the suggested ones like ginger, I am trying to eat and drink but it's just tasteless or it comes back up. I have been napping loads but the moment I wake up, I feel sick. It's strange also because I seem to be feeling better at night now but worry as to why the feeling went, then I wake up and start all over again. I will take the advice and keep drinking, what type of protein foods would you suggest I try? My doctor prescribed Buccal, I have used it twice but no help. Many thanks. Bee. X

Sorry your feeling so icky! It is no fun!! Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I am 6 weeks almost 7, so we are close!
Things that I do find that help with feeling so sick, try to eat often and drink water, or juice often as well, if you keep food and drink in you all the time it REALLY helps, hard to do when you don't feel well!! Protein is the most important as well and good carbs! I find fruit is easy on the tummy!
Also ginger helps, try ginger tea, or crystallized ginger. I also hear that B-12 is supposed to help. I also recently read that unisom, the sleep tablets are great for morning sickness. Read it in a pregnancy magazine so I think it is safe, might want to check with your doc. Another thing that helps a ton is trying to take naps or rest when you can, sometimes I get the most sick when I am tired!
Hope you are feeling better soon.... hopefully it will only last until 12 or 13 weeks, usually with most pregnancies, it will let up around that time, so hope that is the case for you, it usually is the case for me! It is nice, because then you can just enjoy being prego!
Take care of yourself!
