32 weeks no baby shower

so from the beginning of my pregnancy, I was hearing dat my sis was goin to throw me a surprise baby shower but now dat I only have one month left n I haven't  seen or heard anything about it I'm starting to think there will be no baby shower. I mean it would had been a lot of help since I'm goin to be a single 20 yrs old mom .. But I guess it's ok . I'm just sick of ppl asking me if I'm goin to have one n I'm like no I don't think so. Like do dey need a baby shower to give me gifts

Maybe you haven't heard about the shower because it truly is a secret. They wont tell you anything if that's the way to not spill the beans. The plan may be to make you believe they have no shower intentions.  Get suspicious if they tell you to dress up or something for "dinner "

Or when the baby comes you can have a meet and greet. Ppl bring gifts and meet the baby

You have two months thats still a good amount of time. Park would be perfect for potluck style. Or you could even just have cake and small finger foods if you dont want to ask people to bring a dish.

A baby shower doesn't need to be expensive. The park idea is great. Invite every1 tell them to bring a favorite food dish of theirs, so a potluck style shower. If you want U could get a cake. Buy plates whatever U want from a dollar/.99 store (they have baby shower themed plates & decorations). People will understand Ur saving $$ for the baby & can't afford a big baby shower party. Who knows if U start planning maybe some1 will take over & through U a party themselves.

You have about 2 months left if your due date is June 24, and why don't you just throw yourself a party? It's getting warm out so you can have it at a park and you can do it like a potluck and ask everyone to bring a dish

Cuz my due date is June 24th . I don't really have money for a baby shower . N my house is too small

I made my own since ui live so far away from family and friends. I'm in the Army and station all the way in hawaii, so at 34 weeks I made my own showet which turn out awsome. Alo of friends from work showed up and my husband's friends came as well. We served a ton of figure foods like mini subs, veggie and fruit trays.... and a ton of snacks. Plus I added about 8 baby showet games and had prizes prepared for the winners.

Why do you only have one month left? And if you want a shower plan one for yourself doesn't have to be big just a small get together. But yea honestly most people dont just give gifts because they usually give gifts because there is a shower.
