Antidepressents

Hi, I've just found out in roughly 4+4, I've been taking antidepressants since end of July following a miscarriage in May for PTSD and severe anxiety. Does anybody know if I will have to come off them or are they safe to continue with? I'm taking dosulepin 20mg. Thank you

Its sad you dont have much support but try and think nice thoughts. You are doing a amazing job of growing a tiny human that will love you unconditionally. Just think about getting to the finish line with your prize. Good luck hunn xx

Thank you both. I seen my doctor today and she has stopped all my medication because I've not been taking it for long. I am waiting for a new therapist to continue with my psycho therapy, I don't have understanding friends and family to talk to :( but thank you both very much x

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage,im about 8 wks and i had to stop taking my antidepressants. I had been taking them for around 3 yrs but the doc said they all carry some risks,so i thought its not worth it. Maybe you could try another source of relief. Maybesomeone close who could support you
