Baby arrived...unplanned natural experience

My baby boy was scheduled to be induced on 6/15, original due date 6/20. I went for routine fetal monitoring yesterday morning after all night of contractions. Constractions didn't show on monitor sent me to L&D triage to further monitor, blood pressure was high despite I took my pill earlier that morning. While in triage they were to run test to see if need to induce earlier, baby wasn't as engaged as they would've liked. After taking blood and setting up IV contractions started to show on monitor, they were far apart but strong and doc said I was dilated 5cm. Sent order for epidural as I had planned for, they were setting up L&D room to be ready. Contractions got stronger and I was offered IV meds to lessen pain, I was all for it. While the nurse was getting meds I had 2 very strong back to back contractions, doc checked and I was now 9cm, this is literally 10min after being 5cm. As soon as she removed fingers one big contraction came and the pain was worst. She told me do what comes natural. I pushed, first time what felt like gush of water came and second push was my son. Only two pushes and he was out, after 5cm delivery prob took 15min, it was so fast. The pain I imagined going natural was not as bad as I thought, really glad it was quick. Wouldn't change anything if i could, my son came into the world on his own terms. 6lb 11oz boss:-)
