Dying hair while pregnant

Can i or can i not dye my hair? My roots are so bad, im 8 weeks pregnant and need to dye my hair as close to my natural color as possible to prevent me from touching up every month. So is it ok if I do this?

My doctor told me to wait till i hit 12 weeks. Im 8w 2d and my roots are horrible.. But every doctor says different!

I use naturtint it's completely plant based and has virtually no odor.  And it worked better than any other dye I've ever used! I have gray temples and it 100% covered them!

Doctors still don't know if it's safe to dye your hair, this is my 3rd child I never dye my hair while pregnant

It's better to wait untill after 12 weeks and use organic hair dye, there are mixed opinions but on the nhs website they say it's best to wait until after the first trimester.

The issue with dye has to do with the fact that it might not take to your hair as well as it wouldve, had you not been pregnant due to hormonal changes. There are some dyes without the "chemicals" that you can use so you could explore these. If possible, you could wait another month before going just to be safe but also to get the results you want from the price of a treatment. In trimester 1 we need to be careful what we apply to our skin, since it is very sensitive and may absorb harmful chemicals. Not sure what hairstyles you could try to hide the regrowth but hope there is a compromise.

I heard that its best to wait till your in your second trimester. But everyone has their own opinions. Even doctors.
