IKEA crib

hi all,

I am thinking of buying ikea crib after seeing it last weekend. It is made of solid wood but it's design is not inviting. But functionally I thought it was a good crib and the price point is really nice $100 to $116.. Please suggest ur opinion on that

I personally love IKEA, and most of my furniture comes from their store... HOWEVER, I didn't by my crib from them for one simple reason: at least the models we have here in Barcelona (don't know if they differ in other countries) do not have an up and down side. I mean, one of the 4 sides is "removable", for when baby grows, but in the meantime, it always stays in place, making it harder on your back to always have to bend over it to pick baby up. That's why I chose to buy one of those with movable side, it's got 3 different height positions. Hope this helps :)

I believe here in the us they no longer make them with the rails that lower for safety reasons. No input on the Ikea crib but Im buying one online from walmart.com

Most of the cribs in the US no longer have the side that go up and down but you can raise the mattress platform and lower it as they start moving around

Hi, We got ours from IKEA and I must say it is the best and very sturdy and I am very happy with it.  I wanted white but they do not have white in that particular model but that's fine , color isn't important.  I paid $100 for the crib with the mattress. Crib cost was $60 and was on sale the day we visited IKEA.  I recommend it strongly.
