Something I ate

The other nite I had a mild case of diarrhea... My stomach was cramping so bad, I started getting really hot and sweating, but as soon as I finished poo'ing I immediately felt better.  Before being pregnant I've had a case of diarrhea like this from something I ate, I realize it's very common.  But I worry a little if it's possible to affect the baby now that I'm pregnant from whatever bug it was that caused my brief illness.  Has anyone else had a pregnancy where they had a food-borne illness??

What had you eaten in the days before this episode of cramping, because it sounds exactly like what I felt and I'm sure it was something I ate.

This happened to me the other night when I got off work. My stomach was as hard as a rock and the cramps felt like contractions. I'm only 19 weeks with my first and i was so worried but after I finished using the restroom it all went away my tummy went back to normal and I was just sore where my baby sits

I had a really bad, but very temporary digestive issue like that about 2 weeks ago while on a business trip. Picture this scene: sitting on a public toilet with diarrhea and such painful cramps that it made me throw up while on the toilet. Sweating profusely and light headed. It was horrible. But then when it was all out of my system, I was ok. I think it's because I hadn't eaten for 8 hours or so and didn't have time to go to the bathroom all day. My body was just like, "STOP. Stop right now and take care of yourself or I'm shutting you down."
