So I bought some chicken and beef the other day to try Carter on. I thought it smelled like cat food. I gave him a spoonful of chicken and he didn't do much so i gave him another...then he started GAGGING. I had to scoop it all out of his mouth so he wouldn't vomit. Then I put the bowl down for the cats and even they wouldn't touch it! Guess I'm gonna have to make it too

heh. My mother in law said the same thing about the baby meats. That is the only baby food she made herself, she bought the premade fruits and veggies but processed her own meat. She said that if she wasn't willing to eat the food there was no way she would make her babies eat it either.

That is so funny... it does smell like cat food! If you just puree up what you have eaten for dinner it will make great baby food.

I may be wrong, but I don't think we are supposed to even introduce meats until baby is 7 or 8 months...
