Sleeping patterns

Ok so I guess their sleeping patterns change when they get older??? Blake fell asleep last night at 9:30 and slept straight until 9 am. Then tonight she literally crashed at 8:30...and I am sure she will sleep through the night like she always does. That just seems like a long time to me. She will take an hour or so nap around 11ish (am) and then have cat naps whenever (5-20 minutes) the rest of the day but for the most part she is awake.

Anyone else's baby sleeping that long?? I am not complaining...just saying it seems like forever to sleep. But my mom did say I was an 8-8 baby..

Dorian doesn't sleep through the night and he's 4 months. He goes to bed anywhere between 7 and 9pm. He wakes up sometimes at 12am, or 2am to feed, then up at about 4am, and then wakes up at 6am for the day. I've gotten used to it, but I do sure miss sleep Lol. (The most he's slept it 6 hrs straight)

WOW I thought it was too soon but Noah is doing the same thing! He drools like crazy too and goes nuts when i put my finger in his mouth or he will stick his burp cloth in his mouth and just go to town on it! I thought I felt a tiny little bump too on his lower gum!

Brock sleeps 8-10 hours at night and around 3 45 minute cat naps throughout the day.  But he wakes up fussy from his naps, so I'm not sure if he's sleeping long enough.  Brock is drooling like crazy as well, but no teeth yet!  He chomps on his hands like a mad man!

I am with you... its like "Okay... so when is the tooth going to pop through?"  Speaking of teething... if you don't already have the teething rings you can stick in the fridge... I highly recommend you get them.  Leighton LOVES them!  It makes the drooling more intense, but she just munches away on them :)

Yeah Blake is for sure teething. She is drooling everywhere and constantly knawing on my finger or whatever else she can get in her mouth. I just don't know when she is actually going to cut the stupid teeth!

Blake has always slept well...since about one month or maybe 6 weeks it was through the night (right when I switched to formula it seems) but 12 hours is crazy! It was nice though...she didn't wake up until 8:30...so a good solid 12 hours. I do think she is growing and teething!

Ummm... we aren't there either :)  She naturally crashes between 7-8pm... more towards the 7 end though.  And, I am up between 12am-1am... and then again between 3am-4am.  Then, she wakes up again around 6am.  So, I am up CONSTANTLY... I haven't slept since before I was pregnant!  hahaha...

But, she doesn't consume a lot of milk at one time.  She really only eats 3-4oz. still every 3-4 hours.  It is really hard to get her to eat 5oz., so we don't push it.  I think that is why she is up so often, because she is making up for the ounces she doesn't eat during the day time.  Oh how I wish she would eat more at one time :)

A family friend who is a NP was saying that around 4-6 months, their sleeping pattern will change because of teething.  Leighton is already teething so some days are pretty rough.  I suppose you will know if she is teething if some fussiness accompanies the extra sleep :)

Noah normally goes to be around 9 pm sometimes 8 or 8:30 and will sleep till 6am or 7am! I used to worry too that he was sleeping WAY to long, but he wakes up smiling and seems just fine! I used to get up at like 12am, 3 am lol checking on him but I have learned to rest when he is asleep! I would say Blake is right on track! Enjoy it while it lasts

Um, my little precious usually goes down around 8/9 and gets up around midnight and again around 5. I do not see light at the end of the tunnel yet!

Jack slept for the first time till 7:30am. I am not sure when he actually went to sleep, maybe around 9 or 10, but last night was the first time I didn't get up to feed him. I too was in a bit of pain but happy to have a full night's sleep in many many months (my pregnancy sleep was horrible).
