Haha my guy friend, one of them, says "Their battle scars, and they are beautiful on women, it just shows us men what they have to go through to have us!" ahaha =)
ahh thats a positive way to look at them...
well done :)
It depends on your skin type, with my first baby I had very healthy skin, and did EVERYTHING I could ( lotion, cocoa butter ect.) and wham.... I have a road map. LOL
Some people have more elasicity in their skin, you are either genetically made to get them or not, My mom also got them, then ~ I cared, I was only 16, now I'm 30 and could care less! :) I call them my beauty marks, b/c they are the result of my beautiful kids!
oo thanks evry1 for ure comments :D
yes i drink allot of water, actually thats all i ever drink LOl
I don't have any on my stomach...I have a couple on my breasts though. However..my breasts grew drastically (pretty much overnight I jumped a cup) so I think that is why. The belly was more gradual. I have heard from my friends that the stretch marks on the belly don't really come in until the final few weeks when your baby is just growing and growing.
I have read that stretch marks are more hereditary than anything. You can purchase expensive creams and oils but sometimes you are just going to get them no matter what. Stay hydrated and put on lotion but the good news about most stretch marks is that they fade away in time.
I've had 3 kids, and I don't have stretch marks! As long as your healthy in general and have healthy skin you wont get them. That's one of the reasons it's so important to drink lot's and lot's of water, because water rehydrates the skin!!! =)
I am 33 weeks now and have not gotten one yet! KNOCK ON WOOD.
I think it all depends on the elasticity (sp?) of your skin...... You might get them and you might not! Your very lucky if you dont! My sister had a 9lb baby and didnt get NOT ONE stretch mark... I had a 6lb baby and unfortunately got them all over my tummy! Good luck
