Baby Westyn is here!

On March 12th, I was induced at 6am in the morning. At first they had me schedlued for a C-Section but he ended up flipping head down! YEAH!!!!!!!!! Or so I thought. So I get at the hospital, she pops my water and starts my meds to make me start contracting. My water wasnt gushing or anything, just leaking. At this time he was head down! About 10 minutes later, I start feeling all kinds of water just start gushing out of me. The nurses assure me thats normal. So I am really starting to have pains, the nurse checks me and I am dilated to 3! WHOOPEE, time for the epidural. The nurse did mention he was up really high! Well, when I went into the hospital, my heart rate was like 120's to 140's! So least to say, I was having panic attacks. The nurses where aware of this so they didnt let me know anything was wrong with me or the baby because they didnt want to scare me anymore than I already was. So the next thing I know, I am being wheeled into the Operating room for an emergency C-section! I thought they had put meds in my IV making me feel drugged/loopy?!?! But they didnt, my blood pressure was dropping and Westyn's heart rate had shot up in the 200's!! I can't even hardly remember it all because I was kinda in and out. That was the scariest thing I have ever had done! Westyn ended up being dehydrated and had to be taken away so that they could give him fluids. They started an IV in his naval cord and in his little hand. After about an hour, I finally got to see him! I cried, he had a head full of black hair and just the biggest prettiest eyes looking back at me. He was ready to nurse! I couldn't believe after all that had happened, he was finally here. He weighed 7 lbs and 8oz. and he was 20 1/2 inches long. He was fine and dandy after he finally arrived. I was so worried at first when I realized what all had went down. I have to say, I have had 4 children. 3 natural and this last one C-section. That was the hardiest thing I have ever done in my life! The next day I had to have a blood transfusion, apparently I am anemic and thats why my heart was beating so hard! I didnt hardly have any blood. After 2 bags of blood, I felt MUCH BETTER!! Walking on the other was different story! The first time they got me up, I thought I was going to DIE! And lordy, the pain was unbearable! I'm not one to take pain meds but I was begging for meds after they stood me up! It was like learning how to walk all over again! NO JOKING!! I'm glad I got my tubes tied! I ended up having to stay 6 days in the hospital, I had a allergic reaction to the stuff that they washed my belly with. At first they thought it was an infection and had 2 different IV antibiotics going in me for several days. Thank GOD, it was only a rash! We are at home now, still recovering. It has been hard coming home to 3 wild kids and trying not to overdue it! My house work is getting way behind! Anyone know any FREE MAIDS? LOL We went to Westyn's first doctors appointment yesturday and he had gained 1lb and 2 oz!! The doc said he was doing extremly good. I am so proud! He is such a good baby. The only time he crys is when hes hungry or has a dirty diaper. He has made this easier on me. I just love him to death!
