36 weeks... dilated? effaced?

So I went to my check up today and was "checked". I'm apparently 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I'm 36 weeks and 3 days today. Doc says she doesn't think I'll deliver before my due date but I was curious if anyone else knew how far dilated and/or effaced they are? FTM and just nervous. Thanx!

Thanks again everyone who responded! I guess every body is different. Went to the doc today though and no change. Does anyone know how the measurements work for baby being head down. Doc says she's at -2. I dunno what that means! Lol
