Due 3/19 & its a surprise!!!

We are expecting our third baby and have decided to not find out what baby is! We found out with both our boys who are 5 and 8 years old. I am just sick of all the negativity and pressure from it. The gender has been confirmed with an ultrasound and blood test but we just really want the surprise. Any advice to avoid snapping on someone?

Yea we are really excited not to find out we actually want to keep the baby's gender a secret until the big brothers find out but I am not sure how well that will work out.

My husband and I are going to be surprised too! I've been told that I won't be able to last and I'll give in to wanting to know the gender. I was also told by the same person (former boss) that I'm pretty much a bad parent for not getting my child pink or blue stuff.
My mother-in-law wishes she knew the gender for crocheting. She wants to use pink or blue instead if green, white, yellow or any neutral color.
Otherwise, everyone else has been fine with our decision to wait. Most are surprised because it's not the norm. Also, many forget where waiting to find out at delivery b/c we get asked multiple times, by the same people, if we know the gender yet.

It just gets annoying hearing the same stuff from others about how its wrong not to find out. I read a blog by a father who said its the ultimate surprise and it leaves 0 room for possible disappointment!

I feel the same way. This will be our second baby and everyone keeps pressuring me to find out the gender. We didn't for our first either. I think it just adds more excitement!
