Dropping early.

This is my second pregnancy and it seems like everything is happening a lot sooner that it should. For instance, the night before last I was having consistent painful contractions from midnight until about 5 in the morning along with lower back pain. I went into L&D but was only monitored for 15 minutes, the doctor came in and asked me if I had sex recently as soon as I said yes she took off the belly band and discharged me. The following day (yesterday) I felt very nauseous all day and it finally stopped when I went to bed. Since last night I've noticed that when I wipe a large amount of thick clear mucous comes out. Almost as if I'm losing pieces of my mucous plug. I took a shower and afterwards had period like cramping for an hour. Later on in the day I took a nap and when I woke up I could tell that I had dropped. I'm only 28 weeks today. So any thoughts ladies?

To me it kinda sounds like preterm labor, an you should get checked out, unless you think that having sex is causing all that then lay off the sex a few weeks.. take it easy dehydration can cause labor symptoms too. Ive done that it hurts. Gave me an irritated uterus.. drink lots Of water water water! !!!

With my first child I lost the mucos plug and it was not clear. So maybe you're just having the normal vaginal discharge which can increase a lot during 2 and beginning of 3rd tri mester. You can very easily be having braxton hicks.  Im 23 weeks and started feeling those braxton hicks at 20 weeks and i notice them more after having sex. . Freaks me out at times but luckily it hasn't been too painful. Ive heard every pregnancy is different so you might just be expirencing symptoms you never felt with your first. Good luck!
