I just traveled this weekend for 5 hours right at the end of my 35 weeks, my doctor said ithat was fine but no traveling after 36 weeks... I've had a great pregnancy so far too, so I would go by what your doctor says.. Good luckĸ

I wouldn't go. Most I will go now is 30-45 min away, and that makes me nervous lol if it's just a random visit to family or friends, I'm sure they will understand and should understand that you shouldn't come visit that far along in your pregnancy.

6 each way?   I wouldn't.  3 each way--maybe.  How far away from your hospital are you willing to labor?  Why do you need to go?   If it's inlaw visiting you get a free pass.  Lol.

If your pregnancy is normal and your not having any labor signs then I'd say go for it . why not ? You'll be stuck in for a while when baby ces so enjoy being out while you can . make sure you still consult with doctor though

I took a 6 hr trip exactly when I was 36 weeks. It was hard after 2 hrs of sitting I couldn't stand the pain in my ribs and butt lol. I ended up laying in the back seat the remainder of the trip which was so much better. I'd say if you have no complications its probably okay as long as you are comfortable but Im no expert so check with your doctor :)

It's probably not the smartest idea with how far along you are and how far away your wanting to go. 6 hrs away from your hospital is a long way if something happens or if you were to go into labor early.

It's best to ask your doctor. Sometimes it is fine as long as you take frequent breaks to walk around and use the bathroom
