2 days overdue and no signs of labour

Has anyone had any successful ways to help bring labour along? Im overdue and really fed up now,im soo ready now to meet my little girl..any advice would be grateful. Ive tried walks,curry,sex,bouncing on birthing ball. Midwife said im 2cm and tried to do a sweep.

No mine didnt hurt so this is why im thinking she didnt do it right, it wasnt even uncomfortable, she just said she could only get one finger there. Ive got a different midwife on saturday so hopefully shes better..good luck to you too.

Aw thats good then. I have another sweep on saturday and then they will ring hospital to get a date for me to be induced if nothing happens before then. And yes you can tell them you dont want a sweep i had 2 with last pregnancy that did nothing and this time ive already had 1 that hasnt worked, but they gave me the option. Keep us updated...

Im not uncomfortable (lucky I know) just the anticiapation! I have to go to the hospital tomorrow.. They want to do a sweep but I am not keen on the idea so think I am going to refuse? Either way I will be given a date for induction tomorrow eeek so at least il know the longet I have to wait.

Tried it all and nothing has worked, im soo fed up now as i have a little one already and i cant play with him properly coz my belly gets in the way, i suffer with back pains and pelvis pains so makes it hard to even pick him up sometimes. Just soo ready to meet her now but dont seem to be having any symptoms of labour at all. Im just guessing they will make their apperances when they are ready, its just soo frustrating waiting...wishing you all the best and hope your little man makes an apperance soon..keep us updated.

I'm only 1 day over due and I am in the same boat I want to meet my little man and I don't know what to do I have tried everything but sex. Being a single parent is kinda hard to do things without a man

Due 5th but yesterday was nearly over when i write that lol. Counting down and waiting for baby to make an apperance but have no signs at all. And thanks will try that...

I've heard Nipple stimulation works for some people.. There's lots of different ways to do it if you're not too sensitive. My friend used a breast pump for a few hours on and off and went into labor that night. It's worth a try!
