Haven't really been on here much, I am currently 18w 5d and due May 11, 2010. I was just wondering if anyone else is feeling really full lately? This is my 3rd preg (w/ 1m/c over a year ago) and I am already feeling full and breathless. I haven't gained much weight. Haven't even gained back all the weight I lost at the beginning of the preg. and I really don't feel that I can eat a lot. Everything else is progressing great, we've heard the hb a number of times. I will hopefully have my u/s before Christmas, but I'm concerned that I will have another small baby (my daughter was born on her due date and was 5lbs. 13 oz.). Any advice??

Erica- oh and yea i feel ya on the belly thing. Everyone in my family and my finacee saids that im gonna have a huge baby cuz my stomach is so big already. Im 5 and half months but i look atleast 8 like u said.. lol.  owell i dont mind gaining weight i just hope its not too hard to get rid of, and i can go back down to 108 like before my pregnancy. lol.. and not get any strech marks. lol.  I think its a cute belly though. and i eat alot so it explains it. but i dont work so i have nothing to do but eat. lol. Im sure ull start gaining weight very soon. congrats on being at the midpoint we can celebrate with sparkling grape juice:) lol

Erica- Yea thats messed up.  Why would they need to tell u what it is if your high risk? Makes no since. And yea I understand about the ealry thing. All the stuff I read is always saying things about being 35 and older and blah blah blah lol, so Im glad im having my baby why im so young(even though most people fraun upon it cause im not married) but I dont care what people think. Were in love and have known each other for 8 years so were pretty much married in my eyes I dont need a piece of paper u know. But yea I havnt got any migrains and im having a boy, so maybe u will too :)  I did get heartburn for the first time the other day and it lasted 3 straight days. It was crucial lol. but they say the more heartburn the more hair ur baby will have!!!! I wish I could have another u/s I wanna see my baby moving around again. It was amazing, but I guess ill just have to look at the pictures, even though they only gave me 5 :( lol  He just looks so precious. So U have another u/s coming up dont u? That will be ur 20w one right?

ammanda-- I'm 20 weeks today, according to the u/s. They won't tell you the sex here because they "use health canada's guidelines on the use of u/s equipment" which is bull cause if you're on the 7th floor (high risk) they tell you there. I can understand if you're having complications and need some positive motivation. But, just because you're over 35, it doesn't make sense to me..I chose to have my kids younger, so I have to suffer the wait because of it?!  Oh well, it's one of life's only true surprises left..so I guess I'll just have to wait it out. I think this one might be a boy, this pregnancy is TOTALLY different than when I was preg. with dd, and I'm not getting any migraines, like I did (every other day) with dd due to the extra estrogen in my system..who knows though? lol! It's funny, I look about 8 months pregnant now, but still no weight gain...hmmmm...

That's so weird that they wont tell u. Why is that? I'd go crazy not being able to know what I'm having. But then again it would be awesome to have the patience to be able not to know. lol. And yea I def. understand about the money thing, even though I said that I was gonna pay for another u/s if they couldn't tell me at my 20w u/s. lol.. I can't wait to go shopping!!!! So yea here in Michigan they only like to give u that one u/s at 20wks too.  Congrats on getting back up to your weight.  I really hope you start gaining wait soon. Geez I've gained 12 lbs already. lol. Yea I had my u/s on the 22 and my baby weighed 3/4lb so alil big but not much.  So exactly how far along are u then?

Thanks ladies :o)  I'm almost back up to my pre-pregnancy weight, so we're getting there, maybe I'll actually put on some more weight soon and I'll feel a bit better! I had my u/s on the 23rd of Dec. and they said the baby looked to be about 1/2 a pound, so that's right on track. They did move my due date to the 23rd....which SUC*S!!! Who knows though, they were having a lot of problems getting all the photos they needed because the baby wouldn't stop moving. Congrats on the boy ammanda! They won't tell you here what you're having unless you're high risk, so I'll have to wait until delivery day to find out (unless I want to pay almost $300 to find out...not likely, money better spent on the baby itself). I do have another u/s appt. on the 14th, so we get to see the little one again, which is always nice, since here you only get your 20w scan and that's usually it, but because we were farther behind then they thought, I get another one :o) Anyway, thanks again for reassuring me, I never had any fullness or shortness of breath with DD until closer to the end, so I was just a little concerned. As they say, every pregnancy is different!

I was so excited to have my due date on mothers day. and then to find u, whom had the same due date. Then I went to my ultersound last week, and found out that instead of may 11 im due may 7, only a few days less, but hey when it comes to this im sure everyone would agree that the sooner the better.lol i want my baby here so bad. But I did find out im having a boy. Last week at my ultersound the heartrate was 137 and then on wednesday (a couple days ago) it was at 158 so everything is going great. he weighs exactly what hes supposed to and length too.

My doctor has told me that as you are starting to really get big at this stage, the uterus is pushing your stomach and other organs out of the way therfore there isn't enough room for  everything as usual. I find I get really full really quickly too, so the trick is to eat small amounts often. Shortness of breath is a symptom of pregnancy too. Nothing at all to be concerned about hun xx Best of luck to you xx

Hey Im due May 11 too.  im 19 weeks 3 days. I feel short of breath alot. like sometimes just walking to the kitchen and back. and ive gained like 12 lbs so far. its my first baby so i dont really know all that much. so i cant be that much help but i was just excited when i seen ur due date. I find out Tuesday the 22 what im having.. In four days so excited...
