3d ultrasound

So right now I am 16wks;6days ftm. I want to make an appointment for friday for a 3d ultrasound. It would also be a gender reveal. Do you think its too early? And would it be worth getting the 3d at 17 weeks?

Yeah I'm mostly just too impatient to wait to find out the sex. Havent made my appointment with my ob yet and itll probably take a couple weeks to get in to see him. Id rather find out from the 3d then wait. I have an appointment tomorrow. :)

I had a sneak peek 3d at 12 weeks, which just shows the shape of the baby. And heart best, and seeing it move. The rn who runs the 3d clinic said for the best pictures to come back between 26-30 weeks.

I am 18 weeks. I heard it's better to get the 3D ultrasound at 26 weeks. BecauE right now your baby doesn't necessarily look the way it will closer to birth. At 16 weeks the ears are just moving into place and the Skin is still translucent. But it's up to you lol I will have my gender reveal this weekend and I will be 19 weeks 2 days
