Travel restrictions?

Cannot remember when you're restricted to staying close to your birth center.  We are planning on a quick 3 hr trip to see the Grandparents one last time before the baby comes.

Anyone have the opinion from their doc/midwife?  Brain cells are not working at their best as D-day nears.  Thank you.

I think that depends on your insurance/hospital.  My insurance says not after 34 weeks.  If you deliver after 34 weeks away from you assigned hospital you're responsible for the bill,  but that's my insurance.

My ob said not to fly after 36 weeks, if everything is normal. But with such a short trip I think you'll be ok. The hardest part will be needing to pee so often and strech your legs, so the drive may take longer than expexted and you may want to find bathrooms befor you leave so that your not holding it.
