Sad to Be Leaving Nov 08 Babies :-(

I've had a terrible week.  I went for an ultrasound last Friday the 25th and they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat.  I had a second opinion on Monday the 28th--no heartbeat.  I had already seen and heard the baby's heartbeat three times before.  It was a real shock.  No signs, no symptoms, no indication that anything was wrong.  Since my body didn't know the baby had died, I had to have a D&C on Wednesday.  

It's mind boggling that so much joy can turn to such agony in the space of a few minutes.  

I wish all of you the very best with your pregnancies.  I'll be thinking of you in November...  By then, I hope to be on an '09 Babies Forum.

i am so sorry to hear about that you are in my prayers along with everyone else on this board. Did they say what caused that happening to you? That's so terrible but I do wish you the best always.

Goingonfivekids is right on the money....I too had a miscarriage Jan08 had DNC and was pregnant in Feb08 and Im 13 wks.  IT CAN HAPPEN. The loss is very difficult but please believe that you can get preg again.

I'm so deeply sorry for your losses, I had a miscarriage this past Oct 8 and had to get a DNC but you know what? I concieved again by Nov 7 so dont think you cant get pregnant right away because you can, I did. They say that after a DNC your uterus is the most greater at risk to get pregnant after. Just like after having a baby, your more open to getting pregnant again right after so dont lose hope women we will see you again here.

I am sorry to hear your loss.  April 17th I went for my 10 wk u/s and there was no heartbeat after hearing it before at my 6w5d u/s. I also ended up having a D&C.  Nov will be a very hard month for me when it comes knowing that I will not be giving birth to my child.
