Update on Fionn

Sorry I havent posted in a while.My sister died in November and I havent been up to much. Fionn is doing really well.I am still breastfeeding exclusively and he is now 14lb4oz as of his 8 week check up. He has put on 1lb a week since he was born.He had his first shots,which I believe I took worse than him and was bawling for a half hour after he was fine. Hope all you ladies are doing well with your little ones.

Oh how cute is your little guy! He looks like such a sweetheart! He also sounds like a really good eater! So cute! Great job on breastfeeding!

I didn't have time to be upset about the shots beforehand b/c I forgot about them and when she was giving them to him his legs are so strong that I was focusing on holding him down so he didn't move and hurt himself more. The nurse just kept saying "I've never seen a baby this young have such strong legs" and believe me I know..he was kicking me all the time! I did tear up after he had calmed down (he only cried for a sec) when I saw the tears in his eyes...so sad.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss...

WOW, way to go Fionn and way to go on breastfeeding!!  I am having to supplement and pump and boy, it is getting to me!!!!

I also have a very hard time with the shots!!!  My dd did her usual cry but my ds let out a blood curdling scream that I had never heard before...it just about killed me!!!!!!
