How is everyone doing?

Hi Ladies,

I just thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing??  It's been quite on here for awhile now.  I'm 39 weeks today, feeling fine, no real contractions just menstrual like cramps occasionally.  Doctor said today at my appoinment that I'm 1 - 1.5 cm dilated now, progress from last week as I was about .5 cm dilated.  She also tried to do a membrane sweep but I don't think it was too successful as baby's head was still too high.  So hopefully I'll just go naturally any day now.

i am 39 weeks 5 (nearly 6) days due on the 15th. Midwives dont normally check if ur dialating till a week after your due date (when they do a sweep) so still another week (if im still pregnant) to check that. But baby is nearly engaged all the way and baby is giving me lots of pains (fingers crossed) so it shouldn't be long. I had a midwife appointment today she thought i wouldn't hold out till my next appontment next fri but we'll see.
I went to see my consultant last week, they are really irritating me. He's trying to scare me into going into hospital to have this baby. First it was because im overweight and the baby could get stuck, when that didn't work he said id need injections for deep vein thrombosis THEN when that didn't work he said i'll get post partum hemoraging (sp?). All this because i want a home birth. AR$E if you ask me. Midwife said i should be fine and if i have to go hospital then i will i even have a bag packed just incase.

I am 39weeks 2 days i was 1cm last thursday and baby was still pretty high soo i am hoping to be 2-3cm and efaced some or soften or something :0) my sue date is on the 18th soo I cant wait to see what the doc. says tomorrow. I am hoping she may even try to strip my membranes to move things along for me :0p I am glad everyone is doing well and we will all have our bundle of joys soon oh i cant wait I packed my bags tonight Im ready now :0)

I'll be 39 weeks on Saturday. I had an appt yesterday and I am not dilated or effaced. The baby is in a heads down position, getting ready to join the world! My next appt is on 11/18! Can't wait to bring my son into the world! Very nervous, anxious, and excited! :) Good luck and congrats everyone!

It has been very quiet here lately! Eerie!

I am 39 weeks tomorrow. Had an appt yesterday and was 2 cm dilated and 25% effaced. Baby still quite high as well. Not much progress from last week. I was at 1 cm last week and told I was 25-50% effaced (??) but baby was too high to tell for sure. They checked my fluid levels and baby positioning. Everything looks good. Next appt is 11/19, ONE day before my due date. I hope I go before then, but it's not looking like it! Getting very impatient but baby will be here very, very soon. Good luck everyone!
