Please help!

I have been terribly constipated and bloated, I told my doc. and they said that I could take Dulocolax for a stool softner or maybe drink some Milk of Mag.  I couldn't stomach the Milk of Mag so I bought a laxative called Correctol, (ie a woman's pill)  now I'm afraid I may have hurt my baby!  I am 7 weeks, I have been drinking lots and lots of water.  But I am still really really nervous, I was told that it wouldn't hurt, but I'm really scared!  Any comments?

Thank you so much, I was going to lose it!  After everything I've been thru to get prego, it would be devastating to lose it now!

Thank you!

i'm not sure about correctol, i'm sure you could find if its safe online.. but the good news is even if its not "safe" usually one pill wont' hurt anything... also most laxatives and things are not harmful in pregnancy, but i would check just to make sure.. I take colace..(ducosate sodium) i don't think anyone can make it through pregnancy without a stool softener or laxative of some sort! : )   so i'm sure it will be just fine!! congrats on your pregnancy! : )
