Preparing for baby.

Due: November 9th
Hey ladies. This is my first pregnancy and have tons of questions.
1. I still have a couple of things to get in preperation for my boy. The one thing that i'm having trouble with is finding the perfect breast pump. I went through some traumatic experience when I was younger which has caused me to feel very uncomfortable with the idea of directly breastfeeding my son. I know it sounds crazy, and on top of that my husband is also shy to the idea of me breastfeeding so I was hoping on exclusively pumping but can't seem to find a pump that'll give me a good supply and will last me a long time. We are on a very tight budget so can anyone please recommend a pump they swear by.
2. I understand i'll need to wash my boy's clothes and crib sheets and blanlets before he is here but I want to know when would be a good time to set up his crib (I have it set up but wanted to know when I could put on the sheets ,bumpers, etc). Don't want to set it up too early but I also want to be prepared.  (I have two weeks left).
3 . And lastly, any tips for the labor process. I haven't had the chance to have any classes on anything (tight budget, moving to different state) , also I don't have my family around, only my in laws due to moving for a new job, i'm also 19 and I am scared but I want to stay positive and sponge up as much information as possible so please, anything would help. Thanks!

Ugh...stupid smart phone. ..found it rewarding and MUCH more convenient than anything else. So maybe try (if you can) first and then rule it out.
As far as setting up- whenever you can get it ready.  You'll still find stuff forgotten or find a better product/method after baby's here, so don't worry about things being perfect...it's not possible. Its trial and error.
for labor- it takes the experience individually to really get a grasp. Don't forget to breathe- this is my 5th and I forget to breathe everytime and hubby has to remind me. Dont feel any shame about doing whatever method makes you the most comfortable, epidural, iv bag, etc. The moment is so amazing, the pain ends once you see your lil one- good luck to you and congrats!

How's everything going? You're due very soon, wo wanted to see if you had an update.
As posted above, Medela is a great brand and some insurances offer it or you can find the machine itself on Craigslist and get the personal replacement parts cheaper. I had my first at 20 and was waaayyy weirded out about breastfeeding, but found it actually

Hi there!
1. So I used Medela brand pump but I wasn't exclusively pumping but breastfeeding most of the time.

2. You can put them up now but that just might drive you kinda nuts waiting for baby to arrive (from experience first borns are usually overdue). But if you're not an impatient person like myself then you should be good.

3. Stay calm and relax, childbirth is labor which means just that its labor. Don't get an epidural unless you really need it, enjoy the extra help at the hospital because once you get home its just you and baby ;) Oh yes and remember to ENJOY every moment with your little one, take lots of pictures they grow up very quickly.

Best of luck to you, baby and your hubby.
