Another November Baby Born

What started off as a normal weekly Dr's visit turned into an early delivery. My doctor checked my cervix and told me it was still closed and not dilated last Thursday. My son was also  still high up.  I was so sad and disappointed  bc my due date 11/24 was near. A few hours later I started having contractions. They seemed like braxton hicks. By 1am the contractions were 3-5 minutes apart and painful. We went to the hospital. I was as again told I wasn't  dilated but my cervix was 100% thinned out. I wasn't able to leave  bc my bp was high. After being given  pain meds and being checked again I had quick dilated  to 4. I was stuck there for a few hrs. After 12 hrs of labor I finally gave birth to my beautiful boy. 7 lbs and 9oz. You never know how your day will start and end. I went from thinking I was going to be over due to having my little joy laying next to me on his due date. Best of wishes to you all.
