My C- Section Experience

I went in tuesday night (10pm) to get something to soften my cervix and then I was given pitocin at 6 am. They checked me I was only 1 1/2 maybe 2 cm. They broke my water. Thats when the contractions started coming. They were so regular like 2 minutes apart.  Some I didnt even get a break in between. I asked for an epidural they said they couldnt give it to me right away because they ran out of pumps so they gave me something similar that would do the same thing as epidural but it didn't last as long. I found out the hard way that I was allergic to this stuff. It made me itchy all over but I was so numb I couldnt feel myself scratching so it just felt like I was paralyzed in a pile of ants. 2hours later the medicine wore off and I got a real epidural. They checked me and the doctors face dropped. I was 10 cm. I pushed for 2 hours. Nothing happened. They said he was to big to fit. They decided to give me a C-Section. At that point I was ready to get him out any way possible. They gave me some numbing medicine and immediately started cutting me open. I felt everything. I was in so much pain. I was screaming from the top of my lungs. It was like a horror movie. When they finally pulled my son out I didnt even want to touch him and before I knew it they put something in my spine and I was sleep. I woke up in shock. I could not stop shaking. Im still in alot of pain. Its Friday. I might leave tomorrow. Still not sure.

Oh wow.. Sorry u had such a horrible experience sigh. Hope u have help to get through the recovery. Had my csection 2weeks ago. Hang in there!!

Oh my goodness.... where was this?what hospital?... What a nightmare! I hope you find it in you to get over this somehow. ... asking you to be strong right now is silly after what you have been through. ... I don't even know what to say to encourage you. ... Please dig deep. ... deeper than normal. .. find your way somehow... thinking of you.
