Finally!
36 weeks as of yesterday and I finally feel like its getting closer. Went to the doctor today and I'm right under 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Sooo excited! Just wanted to share! :D Anyone else seeing progress that shows you're getting closer?!
That's exciting. I've had a few strong contractions today but they were very spread apart. I'm ready for the hospital. Lol. I'm too excited.
This past Tuesday at my 36 week checkup I was 80% thinned, 2 cm and she is at -1 position. Then I had contractions for 3 hours on Tuesday night, but not "strong enough" to get monitored. I would hope after those I'm even further along.
That's a long time without an ultrasound. :( I hadn't had one in a while either. They did one a couple days ago just to make sure he wasn't breeched anymore.
Yay how exciting!!! I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and my DR. Hasn't checked either. I'm in CA, go to kaiser and also haven't had an ultrasound since my baby was 18 weeks :/.

PurpleJ - Yes, I am in the US. They start checking at 36 weeks. Well they did with my first pregnancy and this one, at least.
mommeTina - You should ask. Just to be aware. Just gives you a little clue of how much closer you are. I'll be 37 weeks Tuesday and I've been having random contractions everyday too. Hopefully he'll be here in less than 2 weeks.

My mid wife never tells me of I'm dilated. Should I ask? I do get all of the straps and heart beat recordings and it reports no contractions. Idk but I'm 37 weeks and no signs :( well at least my midwife doesn't try. I do feel crazy pain and contractions though. advice?
How do u know you r 2 cm dilated at 36 wks??? I am in England and they don't do internals this early. Maybe you are in another country??
I am 36 weeks doctor did not check for dilatation yet :-( i have another appointment wednesday so hopefully she will check then :-)
I'm 36 weeks as of today and I have my appointment tomorrow. I'm so nervous and excited!! I want to hold my little man already
Yes, very exciting! This is my second but I'm so excited to have a newborn again. At least that's what I'm saying now! Haha. Have you dilated at all?
26 days left for me, I see my doctor next Tuesday. Trying not to freak out! It's exciting. My baby shower is on the 26th of October.
