Membrane sweep and induction

Had membrane sweep earlier today and honestly i didn't think it was gonna work anyway but it was worth a shot. So far i have felt NOTHING. Lol. I am scheduled to be induced on Monday night, so what is four more days. Im just trying to keep myself occupied though even though i am so over this pain. I feel like i have dragged through the mud and punched in the privates multiple times. It *****. Tonight me and hubby went out to eat. I really enjoyed myself and wasnt even thinkin about labor. What have you guys been doing to pass the time?

Aww omg. Are you getting an epidural. Honestly, its not that bad. With my daughter, i was still smiling the whole time. I was pretty high though.  Lol. The contractions before the epidural were no joke though but you just have to stay calm and breath through them. It only makes things worse when you panic, fear makes everything seem worse than what it really is. Just pray before you go in and focus on seeing your baby. You'll be fine!!;) good luck mama!

Omg! You and I are exactly the same. I also had a membrane sweep earlier today. Nothing and am also getting induced on Monday. This was my second membrane sweep and the way she did mine was super painful and I was contracting at the same time, so I cried during the process... I just literally broke down and felt scared and my husband saw the whole thing. I was shaken up and he had hold me. After awhile, I got home and started to rest from the pain, and still no sign of labor happening since then :(. I'm a FTM so this experience was so new to me. I just hope I can be more stronger than I was back there when induction happens. Husband helped set up a bath for me and took me out for a walk afterwards so I can feel normal again. I'm pretty scared of childbirth....
