No nerves?

Is there anyone else who isn't extremely nervous about labor? People keep asking me if I'm nervous, and I'm just not! Women have been doing this for thousands of years! I just feel like things will go how they're supposed to, and my body will know what to do! Is it strange to feel this way?

I'm doing hypnobirthing classes that talk about stress and fear being contributors to pain in childbirth. Yes you will feel muscles working  (largest in the body while pregnant) but pain is not meant to be a part of the process. I love my classes already!

At first I was very nervous with this being my first pregnancy ...I mean beyond nervous, more like scared but now at 34 weeks for some reason I'm feeling exactly as u do ....I'm no longer nervous or scared ...I put in my head that women have been doing this for thousands of years and just as u said I believe that my body will do whatever needs to be done and I'm okay with that and I'm totally fine now :-)
