Induction with no dilation
So I'm 10 days away from my due date (11/19) and still haven't dilated any or thinned any. This is my second baby and the same thing happened with my first. I go in Monday to be induced with cytotec because my body isn't dilating. I'm really hoping for a faster labor.. I was in labor 44 hours with my daughter. It only took three pushes to actually deliver her though.. I'm hoping maybe my baby boy won't be as stubborn as his big sister.
I think I'm one of those women! Even when I miscarried my first baby my body didn't know to dilate to pass the baby so I had to have a D&C done. Once they broke my water with my daughter (when I was only 2cm after 40 hours) I had her 4 hours later.
Some woman don't dilate at all until they go into actual labor.
