I am getting induced.
Well the title says it all.
I am to be induced on Monday the 27th October which will make me 8 days over due.
I had a stretch and sweep done Thursday afternoon then last night started having regular contractions, very painful and 4 minutes apart.
Got to the hospital and they completely stopped.
I am dilated 2 cm and 50% effaced.
They think he is very ready to come out and has been trying but because he is semi posterior with his back laying along my side and him facing up he seems to be having a bit of trouble getting into the right position to put enough pressure on my cervix to make it dilate.
So they hooked me up to the monitors and his heart beat kept increasing, not enough for them to induce me straight away but it is of some concern so I am to be induced monday.
Hopefully things go well and I have my little bub soon.
Congratulations all the October mums who have had their bubs and I hope you're all doing great.

i got induced the 16th, and it ended in a c-sect.....

Well, I guess I am late getting to this post because I believe you would have delivered yesterday. I hope all went well. My LO was faced the same way and it was not fun at all. Congrats to you and your DF. I am SURE you are happy it is all over with now.

Good luck. Maybe you will go on your own like I did. Hope you have a great delivery. Sorry you are over due!! I know you are miserable!! Will be thinking of you tomorrow!

yay...i'm so happy for you...Even my husband was starting to wonder when they were going to take that baby of yours! LOL Good luck. We'll be praying for you!
