yea I hate cough drops too. they are nasty. ok ty jess
idk the name of it, but alot of the women on here have taken a "safe" OTC sleeping med.....maybe you should try it? i took the walmart generic sleep aid a few times, and it helped, the only thing i hate about it, is that if i take it an hour or 2 before bed time, it still doesnt make me sleepy, but when i hit the pillow, oh wow.....i now know not to take it unless i'm going to bed at like 8pm so i can get up at 8am, cos otherwise i totally oversleep lol....and you can also take tussin-dm or tussin-pm(they make "sleep" versions of those meds)....maybe that will help? and i hate cough drops, so i use the spray instead.....
lol u go all out. Last night I called the hospital that I am suppost to deliver at and they said to call the on call doctor, I called them and they said it was not pregnancy related, that if I wanted I could go to the regular emergency room or take robitussin. I told her that when I cough it makes my stomach muscles cringe and it makes my back, shoulders, chest and stomach hurt like I am pulling a muscle or pulling something. She said that the baby will be fine that it isnt pregnant related. So I got some robitussin and cough drops but I am still coughing to where I can not sleep and my whole body is tense.
found this on a preg site.....hope it helps...and as whitlack said, i sure as h3ll wouldnt wait for a fever, that's indication of infection, and if it's heating up your body, i imagine it's hot for the baby too.....btw-have you named that baby yet lol???!!!

TY man being pregnant is one thing but being sick while pregnant is crappy. I just walk around wining all the time b/c I feel like I can not breathe. I have to tighten my stomach muscles just to cough, then I hurt afterwards. :(
It sounds like maybe a sinus infection if you are having drainage and coughing. It sounds like you may want to get on an antibiotic. I wouldn't let it get severe before I got medical attention. Just call and make an appointment. They can't deny seeing you. Hope you feel better.
