How is everyone??

Just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing so far. How far along are you now? Anything new and exciting to share? Any vents or frustrations? How does it feel to halfway through your pregnancy already? (or just about)

Glad to hear everyone is doing well!! I am still feeling those kicks pretty low at times. Sometimes in my vag. area and my behind!! OUCH! lol. I have only felt a few higher than my belly button. I'm sure by 25-28 weeks we will be feeling those movements all over the place!! =)

My mom and my husband were in the room the first time I delivered. I will be honest...I thought it would be strange at first...but in all honesty...when it came time to push...10 more people could have come in the room..and I wouldn't have noticed! lol. She will be there for this one as well and I may have 3 extra people in there as well if I feel up to it. So it will be my hubby, my mom, my MIL, my SIL, and my future SIL. =) I can always kick people out if it gets to be too much. haha. But the birthing room is pretty big...so it should be okay.

Thanks for you insight on my comment =)  I'll give it some thought but will not stress over that. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what that momment brings and how I feel. I hope she'll be the supporting type who will give me ice cubes if I need any or a back rub... It will be interesting having her there though =) lol... To be continued.....

Have you asked your hubby to come or did you mention the u/s appointment and he  didn't respond back by saying he wants to be there? All guys are different, which I'm sure we all know that. I would talk to him and tell him that it would mean so much for him to be there for support. Maybe it's the clinic itself that makes him uncomfortable or a number of other reasons. But I understand how you feel. It means so much to us to have our hubbys by our sides in special moments like these. I wish you the best of happiness =)  HUGS*

20w and 4 days today. I feel pretty good. I'f it wasn't for the constant moving of the baby or the enoromous weight gain :) i would forget I was pregnant. I feel her pretty low too and on both sides. Lately though I have been feeling her higher up as well.. maybe cause my uterus has risen?

kjbutcher- my hubby has not been to one u/s which is upseting but he can't possibly take time of work. It upsets me beucase I want him to be apart of this but I don't want to put pressure on him when I know he's upset already. We can't afford for him to miss work.

Kellyjo- my mother will most definitly be in the room with me. I need her there!! If I can have three people it will be my hubby, mother and sister (who will be taking pictures). My mother is nosy to and probably will be looking all over at me lol but probably I won't even notice from all the pain. I hopefuly will be having a natural birth without drugs. I am hoping..

I am with you with the low kicks.  My DS at 18 weeks was kicking by my ribs which confused me then because just at 20 weeks should the uterus reach the belly button, so maybe we are more normal this time than last!

hi girls!
i've been away for some time but I'm glad to be back. I'm 19 weeks pregnant and juts feel the baby moving for the first time for sure today. I have been feeling something since last week but it was like once a day a weird feeling in my belly. But since this morning I feel butterflies in my belly every hour, so I guess it's that. Looking forward to feel him or even see him kicking, wonderful feeling!
I've had very bad cramping that took me to the er, the doctors could not explain but everything's perfect with the baby and the placenta so it's probably just the body adjusting.
I'm loving this pregnancy, if I didn't want to meet my baby so badly I would stay pregnant forever :-D

take care
M

im 21 weeks and feeling pretty great! Just hungry and tired all the time! but im sure thats how everyone feels at this point! I feel the baby move so much now which is so amazing and a little weird! hehe! we are getting the money together now for the baby room. i have a pic of how we are doing it under my pictures. im so excited! We have already picked out a name Jamin Scott (sound out Jay-min). The first name is just an uncommon name and the middle name is after my dad. He wanted a boy soo bad! he grew up with 5 sisters, his father died when he was 14, got married had 2 girls, then my sis had a girl and is preg with another girl so i promised him i would give him a boy! haha! He is so excited!

I'm doing great. Feeling kick here and there but really small kicks. Question though, is it normal to feel your baby kick so low at 18w & 6d??? I thought it would kick above my bellybutton by now... Can't remember how it was with my other two but I know they kick a lot more and strong kicks and also everywhere in my belly. This pregnancy is so different. Seems like a very calm baby though. My kids really wanna feel the baby move but don't wanna put there hands lower than my bellybotton. Just wanted to know if those of you who are in my weeks of pregnancy are feeling the baby but low in your pelvic area... Besides that, I'm just counting the days for my BIG ultrasound where they'll tell us what the sex is!!!! So exciting!!! My hubby, kids, and mother will be there for the big news. They wouldn't miss it for the world. My mother the other day, told me that she wanted to be in the delivery room.... don't know what to think of that. Not sure if I want her there only because she's like the nosey type that will be looking down my private part even before the baby is crowning... or so I think. I'm actually kinda shy... I guess I'll just have to wait and see on that day how it all plays... Maybe I'll be in too much pain to even notice her there lol.  Have any of you had your mothers there????? My best friend said that I'll make grandma and baby really close. Is it true???

things are good here.  17w 5d.  I have my scan next tuesday.  Feelin good!  Only frustration is the husband who, I guess since it is baby no 2, feels he has already seen it all and has no desire to go to any appts or the big scan!  very disappointing, especially at a time of heightened emotion!

I am 22w 1d and have been feeling the baby move like crazy now. It's pretty consistent everyday now and the kicks are strong! Every morning my baby pushes out on the left side of my belly making my belly lopsided. My husband loves feeling the baby move first thing in the morning. It's so cute. =)
I still have so much pelvic discomfort, but there isn't much that can be done about it, so I am just seeing a chiropractor. Also, my nausea has come back!!! I had a 3 week break and for some reason it is back. yucky!
