Is your baby Crawling yet or have any teeth?

Hi Ladies,

Been a while, hope everyone is doing great! How are the babies? Anyone crawling or have any teeth yet?

I thought Peri had a tooth on the top (weird) so I freaked out jumped up and rushed to wash my hands to see nothing but gums. lol She's trying to crawl as well. She'll get up on all fours and stay there for a while...its the cutest thing. Then when she wants to get something she will roll over and reach then roll over and reach again until she gets there.

What about everyone else?

Naomi refuses to crawl and will scoot on her butt or make you help her walk. Took her first steps alone right after she turned 10 months. She has six teeth too.

Gabriel has 2 bottom teeth and a 3rd coming in. He isn't crawling, but close. He rolls around the room and will lift onto hands and knees so far!

My Peri started crawling really well Friday night. I called the baby sitter all happy and she said oh yea she's been crawling lol. Now she won't sit still. She's moving everywhere.

Im so tired of pumping. I'm trying to nurse until her 1st birthday but goodness I hate to stop doing what I'm doing at work to get up and go off to my little room to pump. I used to like it in the beginning but now I dont. I would prefer just nursing her in the evenings and morning but I dont know what I'm going to do. I have nothing stored in the freezer anymore so I'll probably be buying formula pretty soon. Ladies keep your fingers crossed for me because im on the edge with this pumping lol.

lol, I had to quit breastfeeding at the hospital because my little girl bit so hard!  The latch was great, she just bit, until it bleed :(.  And she still does not have any teeth yet.  My SIL has a girl that didn't bite so it just depends on the child.  Biting with or without teeth can hurt!

Briana has been sick so she doesn't want to do much of anything, except being in my arms all day! But, she goes from sitting to crawling position and then she will move forward (I guess she's practice's crawling) but not fully crawling. Most of the time she'll just roll to where she wants to get. She does have two teeth out already and her doctor said to start feeding her thicker, textured foods. Warning, when teeth are out, be very careful if you are still nursing.... THEY WILL BITE and IT WILL HURT!! It's happened to me more than a couple times!!

Our girl is crawling, sort of.  She's crawled a few times, but not a lot yet.  It was a ball that helped her, lol.  She is teething, her gums have gotten hard about a month ago and she's got a bump on the top and bottom that show then disappear.  I'd guess in 2-4 weeks she'll have her first tooth.

Other than that we've still tried to feed her solids from a spoon but she just won't have anything to do with that.  I swear she's going to go from a bottle to chewing steak.  She really wants to eat our stuff, but isn't a fan of the spoon.  Were hoping when she gets her first tooth and give her a teething bisket that she'll get better with it.

Alaysha, that's how it starts, and it can take several weeks for the tooth to fully move out!  That's exciting!

Brady has a visible tooth on the bottom. It's been slow but it's poked through and just has to come up all the way now. It hasn't been all too terrible for him, no fevers, rash or too much pain.
As for crawling, not yet. He can sit like a champ and is starting to try and do what Alaysha is explaining about going from a sitting to crawling position. He hasn't done it just yet. He usually face plants!! LOL I'd say it'll be soon for him though. Once he sat up..that was it. He masters things fast!!

I'm convinced that Navy is getting one of her top teeth in but I can't actually see anything. If I rub her gum with my finger I can feel something sharp which DH has verified because I was sure I was going crazy! But no teeth yet.

As for crawling I have a feeling it is going to be VERY soon. She constantly is up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth and then tries to use her rocking momentum to move forward when she lifts her hands... but it doesn't work. I have seen her move one hand and one knee and then fall over but I don't think that really counts. I heard that before they actually crawl they have to learn how to move from a sitting position to a crawling position and from the crawling position to a sitting position but I cannot remember for the life of me if that is how it went with Aspen. Navy has not mastered that yet but I can see her kinda getting into the position. So for right now her method of transportation is a weird backwards shuffle, army crawl, rolling thing. She can pretty much get anywhere that she wants though and is pretty darn quick at it!
