Wrong due date

I think my due date is wrong. I'm almost 32wks but I look like I'm ready to pop and every ultrasound I get my baby measures 3 weeks bigger than what he should be. Any one else have this problem? Or ideas of why this is?

I have this feeling I'm gonna go into labor soon. I don't know what it is but I have been nesting big tine, and I can tell the baby is head down. I really think my due date is wrong for sure. But on Monday they r gonna do another ultrasound and check my babies size and amniotic fluid to see if i  am due earleir.

Yes but he was swimming so much they couldn't measure him.  Yeah I wonder what's gonna happen next month. My team of docs r still debating when to induce and if my heart can handle the pushing. I hate dangeling around I wish I just had a set date instead if them saying we r thinking of doing this but we don't know yet. So unfair!!!! My other 2 were so easy!

It could be the extra amniotic fluid that is making him appear big. At my ultrasound I was measuring small and they said that if you amniotic fluid is higher/lower than normal it can cause the babys measurements to be off. But at the same time if they are only going by LMP they could be off. Did you ever get an ultrasound in the first trimester?

Ya my doc is only going by my last lmp. And for 32 wk ultrasound he was measuered 35 wks again another 3 wks bigger then my due date. This is also my third child and I have never had this problem before. I guess maybe I'm just hoping a doc will say "guess what ur further long than we thought!" that would b a dream come true. Did I mention I also have xtra amniotic fluid and am on bed rest with heart issues, i have been in and out the ICU for 6 wks now cus the pressure from the baby is damaging my heart. You guys will probably see me on here allot cus I'm spool bored

My original due date was October 30th but now it's October 21st. Every ultra sound I get they tell me I'm further along even by a few days

Hey! I am the girl that Tasha is referring to. I had this problem and my u/s was 3 weeks after my LMP. I go to a military base and they where they go by the LMP regardless... Finally I saw a doctor that would listen to me and she agreed with me so when I was 24 weeks they bumped me up to 27 weeks. I know it probably seems like you are huge (I think we all feel this way at this point) and believe me, when you think you can't get any bigger you always will. I told my doctor the same thing that my baby will come when she wants (this is my 3rd baby and my water always breaks) and I am sure that the same thing will happen to you.

Thanks everyone for ur input. I guess when the baby wants to come he will. But on the other hand doc was talking about inducing me in september now, so maybe they realized im further long.

Could just be that your baby is measuring big. Not that I would wish a 10 lbs baby on anyone. If you know when your last period was or got an early ultrasound you should date your pregnancy from that date.

There is a girl on this site who had the same thing happen, her doctor changed her due date and bumped her up a couple weeks!!

I had a friend who was told that she was 32 weeks one month and then two weeks later they informed her they were wrong with her due date and told her she was 36 weeks.  Two weeks later again they apologized for being wrong and told her she was due any day (which according to her originally due date just a month earlier she would have been 36 weeks).  Stranger things have happened.  Congrats on your bundle of joy.
