That's one thing I haven't done cuz I mainly nurse him. I know for sure he's not getting how much he could drink from a bottle and that's probably a big reason why he's not sleeping but even when he does have a bottle he still wakes up. When giving him bottles I was giving him 7oz's but I switched it to 9 to see if he'd drink it all and he does. I've heard of giving them bottles with cereal but I don't want to actually chunk him up. He's a big boy already, not chubby just a solid 20lbs.
Have you tried baby food at night followed by a bottle? How much is he drinking? Sometimes breastfed babies have to eat often. I had the same problem with my daughter. Now that I bottle feed her she seems to go longer without a feeding.
I would LOVE if he would cut everything out and sleep till 5. I could handle that!! LOL
I'm thinking he misses it too and the noise he's probably used to because he would hear DH, me and the dog all breathing and stuff. I don't want to move him back, I'd like to for my sleeps sake but I just can't do it. I'm sure he'll get used to it soon enough. I have a sound machine in his room but it's not working for him so I'm going to go out and get a little CD player...he used to fall asleep to a CD when he was in our room so maybe if we do that.
Lol... I had that problem. Maybe he just feels like he's not close to you anymore. My daughter was actually using me as a pacifier so she wanted to nurse all day and all night. I had to nurse her to sleep and it was getting very painful. Now she is bottle fed so that has helped a lot. I still breastfeed her, but only about once or twice a day. Maybe you should try moving him back to your room. Oh, by the way, my daughter is not sleeping through the night either. She wakes up at 5am and then she's up by 7am.
