hazel eyes plus blue eyes = brown eyes??

Can a mother with hazel eyes and a father with blue eyes have a brown-eyed child?

Absolutely.  My mom has hazel eyes and my dad has blue eyes, and two of my sisters have brown eyes.  Very brown, not even hazel.  We kids went brown-eyed, blue-eyed, brown-eyed, blue-eyed in birth order.  And lest you wonder, we are all often confused for each other's twins, so we do look alike (in other words, the brown-eyed ones didn't come from the milkman).  lol
