How are you doing on your weight gain?

Now that we're well into the second trimester the suggested weight gain is slightly over 1 pound a week. I know that's right about what I've been doing for the last 3 weeks. At this rate I'll be the same weight I was when my daughter was born probably around 175ish just shy of 180. My average non pregnancy weight is around 160 so that keeps me in the normal range.

I'm checking in to see how everyone else is doing with their weight gain. I know for some of us it can be hard to put the pounds on and even harder to make sure we don't gain too much.

I'm already looking forward to losing the weight after the baby is born!

Sounds like everyone is pretty much right on target with their weight gain.  I am noticing I am getting nauseated and sick more so now with my stomach running out of room, but that is all part of it.  Gotta remember to eat more frequently instead of so much at one time.

my weight's gone back done a tad, so i say the weight gain's definitely from water retention! so far for the most part it's been holding steady. i'm still aiming for only 30-35 lb weight gain from this pregnancy when all is said and done, so we'll see. :)

I went up to 120.8 on my scale.. its good to be gaining weight... some might be water retention but even weighing myself in the AM when im empty has gone up so i am happy...  Approximate weight gain is around 20 lbs so i am right on target...

Towards the end here I am being affected by the food and the sodium and too by me being on my feet a lot.  I can retain a few pounds daily with this which can be frustrating on the scale, so I am just trying to be relaxed about it and not check as much as I was.  The baby is growing and moving so that's all that matters :D

I've gained 22 lbs, alot less than my other pregnancies thus far, so I'm happy about that, but just during the last 3 week I gained a little over 6 lbs, really in only 3 weeks.  Hope it's just baby. :)  Ok probably not, but I'm still happy that my total for me hasn't been that bad.  I'm a little bloated again too so I wonder if that has anything to do with this last weigh in.  wishful thinking I'm sure.

I ordered my postpartum girdle the other day to help after birth with reshaping me.  I agree with the food, ugh if I go off my little rocker it shows on that scale really quick with the swelling.  Just eating blander food yesterday, like rice, beans and veggies made it go down 2.5 pounds.
